how to print over a VPN

Hi folks i have a remtote office that connects to our main network to access programs and files, people however want to print information while connected to our network thru the VPN to the printer we have at the office (linked to a wireless broadband router so 3 pcs can share it)

obviously if someone tries to print while on the VPN accessing our network it will print up in head office, this is really not ideal and the only thorn in my side setting up this little operation

is there anyway at all i can get it to print locally to this office, while it is connected up to the main network via a VPN?

If i understand correctly, you have a remote office with a printer and 3 users. You want those 3 users to print to their printer locally while still connected to the network and logged on to the network.

Yes, that can be done, if you have your printer configured with an IP. You set up a printer on each of their workstations that prints to the IP address. If you must use a print server at your main office, then things get more complicated.

there are no problems printing locally this is already set up however when the users have the VPN active and are accessing our network programs via Citrix ICA client i forgot to add it obviously only shows up the printers at the head office

Ah Citrix
Then your Citrix client must have a printer setup that prints to the IP address of the Printer at your local office. This will require that the VPN is site to site and not client to site.

i dont think there is any other option available to me
