I have 1000 DAT tapes of jobs archived with backup Exec 7.2 for Netware 3.2.
The computer this is running on is dying and I don't have all the disks to reinstall. So, I want to capture the catalog data either in some readable format or as hard copy printout.
I figure that on the rare occasions I am asked to resotore something from one of these tapes, I can re-catalog the tape on BE 8.6 for Win2000 and restore the job.
Veritas claims the catalog database from the Netware version is not readable by the Windows version, so I would just need to be able to figure out which tape a job is on.
Anyone have any ideas?
