how to print a text field over a datawindow in powerbuilder 6.0?

I have a report in a datawindow, but I want to print the user's name, which is stored in a global variable. I use a text field to display it. When I run my program the text field is displayed correctly, but it doesn't appear when I print the report
What can I do to solve this problem?

Put a single line edit (or an empty string column) on the datawindow and set the text prior to printing it.

thanks Matt. I did it. I solved the problem by adding this line in the open event of the window containing the datawindow:
dw_1.object.n.text=nombre;
