I have a continuous subform and tab/enter moves thtu the fields. When tabbing out of the last field it goes to a new record putting the focus there which I don't want to happen.

Why? I have a navigation button set that needs a field id from the current record to populate the next form. No id no form.

I don't want to trap the cursor to a particular field as there are other places to mouse to. I just want to stop the tab after enter on the last field.

Thanks,

In the design view of your form, display your form's property sheet. Click the tab marked Other and set the Cycle property to current record.

Hope this helps.
