Hi to all! I'm wondering if someone knows how to prevent a report generated with the report distribution expert to ask for a password every time I want to refresh the data in it. I use CR 8.0 and the oracle 8 ODBC driver.
The report works fine except for this annoying issue of retyping the password every time. The screen where I have to type the password is the following:
LOGON PARAMETERS:
Server:
Database:
User Name:
Password:
The server and user name boxes are filled automatically and I can leave "Database" blank.
Another thing, in the oracle driver configuration I've made sure the "user_ID" box is filled with the correct information. Does anyone know how to get rid of this problem?? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.
