How to preserve VShield System Scan Exclusions

Hi,

We are running McAfee VirusScan software v4.5.1 client software on MS Windows NT and MS Windows 2000.

When pushing dat files to the client PCs from the management console the System Scan exclusions always appear to be reset. This is a problem for software developers who have to keep re-entering the exclusions and aren't necessarily aware of when the update has occurred. Can the system scan exclusion settings be preserved and if so, how?

I would suggest you upgrade Management Console to ePO. Has a better way of maintaining configurations on client PCs.
