How to prepare the NCR certification ?

Deal all,

I'm trying to prepare the NCR certification (Teradata Certified SQL Specialist NR0-001: Teradata BasicsNR0-003: Teradata SQL).
Does anyone have any advices to the beginner ?
(I have few years experience in Data warehouse project)

I took a look at

but I have no idea that which documents are helpful.

The Teradata WEB based training for Teradata Basics will prepare you for the TD Basics exam.

The Web based training SQL 1,2,3 will prepare you for the SQL exam, but also take SQL 4,5, and I think ^6 is also available now.

In fact, I'd already taken administrator courses, but I wanna try passing the exam without taking course,because its taked a lots money and I think that BasicsNR0-003 isn't too hard for learning by self.

Do you know where I could find the experince artical for those basic exam? thx a lots.

Hello,I have seen your posting on the web.Did you finish your exam on Teradata Basics.I am planning to give it this month end.I am unable to find the proper practise tests for the exam.Can you help me out please...I need a few prctise tests apart for the ncr teradata site and the coffingdw site.I find only 3 exams there.Do you by anychance happen to know anymore details please let me know....

The Teradata web based training CD's will prepare you for the Basics, and SQL exams.

The SQL exam used to focus only on SQL course 1-3, but I took all 5 to prepare the the SQL test.

after I posted this, It's passed 1year almost,
and,I got ncr basic & SQL certificate during last year.
I'v found two course materials of teradata basic & SQL from internet,It's older material (1999) but complete.
I also think that the test is kinda easy.

,That's a good document , I can tell that's enough to prepare the test of teradata basic.

last, I'v heard a unconfirmed news from ncr employee about the SQL test, they said after 2002 (2003~) the SQL test will be more difficult , cuz the SQL test will add OLAP functions in. Is that truth??

ALL of the tests are going to be more difficult when they start testing on V2R5. Why, other than more information to test on, I cant say, but they are supposed to be tougher. ALSO, when they retire the present exams (based off of V2R2, I believe), you will have to start over to hit certain levels. For example, you passed test 1 and 2. So you are a certified professional, and a certified SQL specialist. If you pass test 3 on the present software level, you get a 4th certification (advanced teradata professional). But if you take it on V2R5, you get nothing. Because you have to pass basics AND physical implimentation on the same saftware release to even get the physical imp. certifiaction, much less the advanced cert. You dont lose what certs you have, but to get new ones, you have to start over.
I started the cert tests about 3 months ago, and have passed the first 5. I take the final one tomorrow morning. I pushed that hard so I could get my masters WITHOUT testing on V2R5 (which I dont have nearly as much information on). Later on, I will take a single test to certify me on V2R5.
One final note, you can try

. There you can buy 'crams' for the tests. But you really need additional information as well. The tests get kind of difficult.
