Hi
I want to pre-populate PDF form with data from database. I am using ASP(Active Server Pages) as front end and Oracle database as backend. Can anybody tell me how to achieve this? Is the use of CGI required? Are there any third party tools available in the market? Any example snippet will really helpful. I will really appreciate your help.

Thanks

Jim

Hi

You need to get hold of the FDF toolkit from Adobe. It contains some really handy functions within a couple of activeX Dlls which can easily create FDF data to populate a PDF file from a database. All of these are geared up for VBScript and ASP and are a piece of cake to use once you get going.

Pop along to for their REALLY useful "fdfgateway.asp" script which will catapult you into the limelight.
