Hello

I have a DHTML horizontal menu which is nicely positioned across the page.

I now wish to place under the menu (on the same page) a normal table. When I look at the page through IE6, however, the table covers most of the menu. How can I force the table to remain, say, halfway down the page?

Thanks

Hard to say without seeing anything. My suggestion on what you told us would be to ditch the DHTML menu for something easier, more css driver and standards compliant, since table should automatically begin underneath the menu if the page is properly coded.

I'm guessing the menu is positioned absolutely... which removes it from the flow of the document. You could float the menu instead... and use a clear:both (or whatever is relevant to the float you use) on the table to make sure it's always beneath the menu.

Send through a URL for us to have a look at for some more specific answers [smile]

Cheers,
Jeff

I wouldn't know how to float it, BabyJeffy. I will post a URL later this evening (when I get home) to throw some brighter light on this - but thanks for your posts.
