How to populate a pull-down list with contents from a folder

I have a database entry page that will have a field for specifying which image in a folder needs to be with that record. I want to populate a pull-down menu with the names of the files in the images folder. That way I can just throw a bunch of files into the folder and not search for a specific name in that folder by going to another source. Any suggestions?
