how to populate a list of item from a tables

someone know if it is possibile populate a "list of item" (like poplist or combo box) using a query from a table?

i have tried the "mapping of other values" but j have not seen any result...

Use Create_Group_From_Query, Populate_Group and Populate_List in that order.
