How to play some sound or welcome message with Splash form 1

I am developing some package using VB and MS Access database. I want to play some music/sound and some recorded welcome message at runtime with the splash form. Can someone provide me some hint.

use the windows media player control (it will be available if u have installed medial player in ur system). assign it any file (all supported files of media player) and simply make its visibility false....

Known is handfull, Unknown is worldfull

I remember I had used sndPlaySound() Wind32 API to play wave sound files in VB. It worked well and is very simple to use.
