I wish to play MPG video files on a form. These files could be different depending on which button is pressed. Therefore the object needs to be able to play different videos, possibly with different file extensions.

Can this be achieved with Windows Media Player, if so how do you add this object. I also require the video to look like it is playing as part as the form (ie no borders or looking like a seperate file).

Thanks

Tried using the Microsoft Multimedia Player ActiveX control on your form? Tools/Options/Controls and select it from the list of ActiveX controls.

Although I have the latest windows media player installed there does not appear to be windows media player activeX in the ActiveX controls. There are windows media controls activex but no player.

Am I looing for the right thing ie Place a "x" in the Windows Media Player? If so I do I get this option in my controls?

I show a control called the Windows Media Player in VFP's Activex controls. It's OLE class is MediaPlayer.MediaPlayer.1. Note: I am running XP Pro.
