Hello,
I 've got a graph of the type VtChChartType2dBar
and I want to place the values of the bars on top of each bar. How do I do this ?

Thnx.

Set the datalabels for the series collection:

.SeriesCollection(1).HasDataLabels = True
.SeriesCollection(1).DataLabels.Position = xlLabelPositionOutsideEnd

thnx MarkSweetland,

But how come I don't have the 'Hasdatalabels' option ?
neither I have the '.Datalabels.Position' option.

While waiting for an answer to my previous question, I found an alternative (less good) solution.

I wil put the number (the value of the bar) in the label of the row (under each bar). This works just fine, the only problem is, that if the text under the bar becomes too large, mschart puts it vertically and this makes it very hard to read.
So I would now like to know how to change the font of my text in order to make it easier to read

Thnx.
