can any more please let me how to password protect microsoft outlook .

It depends on your version, but try this:

- Open Outlook
- Go to tools/services
- highlight personal folders and press properties
- use the change password button.
(This password protects your .pst file only it has nothing to do with the password you use to connect with your mail server).

If you are using an Exchange Server go to TOOLS - SERVICES. Select Microsoft Exchange Server and the properties. Go to ADVANCED and set the "Logon Network Security" to NONE.

Then you will be prompted to enter your LAN credentials each time Outlook starts. joegz

I would go with joegz' suggestion. but make sure you know what your domain name is before you change the password setting.....
