Hi,

I am using a Stored Procedure to pass data to my report. The procedure contains an input parameter which is an xml. So when I created this report with this SP, it is prompting for the xml.

I am not sure of how to pass the xml to the SP in report on runtime. Can someone please suggest me this.

Thanks

How are you running the report? If you're running it just through Crystal, have you tried just passing in the prompt info in the XML format that the SP requires? If that doesn't work, what kind of error are you getting?

If Crystal won't take the XML input as a prompt, I would create a "wrapper" SP for the existing SP. The wrapper would take the input parameter as plain text, format it as XML, pass it to the existing SP and return the results from that back to the report.
