How to pass query paramaters from Crystal to Oracle Query (PeopleSoft)

I am new at Crystal and am still learning. I have several queries (in our PeopleSoft system, on an Oracle Database) that require paramaters before they are run. I have built the reports in Crystal and can run them and get the results I want, but when I try to display the paramaters on the report, the fields are blank (ie, Fiscal Year, Starting Period, and Ending Period are the three paramaters for one report).

I think that this is happening because when the report is run the paramaters are entered in a popup window from the PeopleSoft Query, and they are not passed back to Crystal in the report. I think should be able to enter the paramaters in Crystal and pass them to the Query when it is run, this way the paramaters would show up in the paramater fields in Crystal and I should be able to show them on the report.

Any help on how to do this would be greatly appreciated. It is probably very simple, but as I said I am a newbie to Crystal.

Thanks,
