I have a couple Oracle forms based applications that I am trying to migrate to our new portal. These applications previously had individual logins. I would like to wrap them into single sign-on. Everything is set up and runs fine, however, I am unable to pass the login parameters to the java applet running the webform. Does anyone out there know how I might accomplish this? How can I let my forms apps know who is logged into portal?

Thanks in advance.

Can you pass in the value wwctx_api.get_user as an argument to the form?

That's just my problem, how do you pass anything into the form? The URL is just the location of the forms servlet, and the application is determined by adding to the formsweb.cfg file:

[app_name]
form=form_name.fmx
separateframe=False
lookandfeel=Oracle
userid= -- concealed --
width=1500
height=1000

I'm really out of my element here, so if you know of any way for my forms apps to check who is logged into SSO please let me know.

OK, let me preface this by saying I'm out of my element on this one, too! But you never know - get enough people stumbling around in the dark and one of them might trip over what you're looking for!

With that said, would it be possible to have the form execute wwctx_api.get_user so it could determine who was calling it?
