Hi All,

I would like to know how can I pass some formatted text from a text pane in Java to MS Word with the same format?

I have tried to pass the text to the word file, but it is unformatted. Can anyone help me?

Check out the POI project at

This provides a way to create files in Word format.

what about exporting it as a RTF (Rich Text Format). I haven't looked, but I'm sure there are API's to do that too.

thekobbler,

I think there might be and they are at the same location that idarke specified, in the Jakarta project at Apache.
