I want to pass a hidden variable from a jsp page to a front controller.
any ideas?

Hidden form variables are an element of HTML

<input type=&quot;hidden&quot; name=&quot;foo&quot; id=&quot;foo&quot; value=&quot;foobar&quot; />

Don't know what you mean by a front controler
