I need to store Employee IDs in a string or an array from a main report and then pass them to a subreport to be used in its record selection. Any ideas? I am using CR8.5. Thanks.

Create a parameter in the main report, and then link the parameter from the main report to the field in the subreport.

If it's not a parameter, just join the main report to the subreport based on the fields of each.

If neither suffices, please flesh out the details.

Hi Synap, I created a parameter in the main report "?IDs" and linked it to the subreports ID field. When I tried to run the report it prompted for IDs, which in my case is not possible because the main report is not required to have any parameter for IDs.
I tried the second option by linking ID field from the main report to the ID field in the subreport and only one ID which is the last ID in the main report gets passed to the subreport. I am thinking that I should store main report IDs in a string and then link that string to the subreport and I need help in that.
