I have a Bill of Lading where I need certain disclaimers to print in the right column. The disclaimer is fixed text and will span a range of details (items shipped). Here is the jist of what the form looks like...

QTY ITEM# DESCRIPTION (This is where the
1 ABC ABC PART disclaimer goes. And
5 XYZ XYZ PART it just keeps going
3 123 123 PART and going. It over-
4 456 456 PART laps the details por-
1 DEF DEF PART tion in this manner.)

You could try putting the disclaimer in the Group Header Section or Page Header, whichever is appropriate.
In either case, you will want to create an additional section and add your field or text object.
Set the Can Grow property if it is a database field. If it is just a bunch of static text, then just size the box accordingly.
Got to Format, Section.
Highlight the Group Header and select the Underlay Following Sections property.
This will allow you disclaimer to span multiple detail lines without affecting the detail section.
