How to open window form ?

Hi all,

I have a main application developped with VB.net. And the dashboard is developped with asp.net.

From the dashboard i would like to click and get the detail information by opening the VB.net window form.

Can anymone tell me how to open a window form from asp.net page and send some parameters ?

I need to open it either by clicking on a button or by clicking an hyperlink.

Web applications are really not designed to do what you want. YOu can look into:
System.Diagnostics.ProcessStartInfo
in the help files

as jb states. web applications are not suppose to execute processes/applications on the client machine. think of the security implications. what you/your client requires is for the server to have control over your local workstation.
