hi guys,
I'm trying to broadcast music on the web and part of the setting is to open up port 80. I have DSL that is connected to D-Link router. does anyone know how to configure my router so I can allow connections to that port?

thanks

It varies from model to model: you can find the manual online at DLink's website.

Look for the section called 'virtual server' (sometimes called 'port forwarding' by other router manufacturers). It's found in the 'advanced' section of the dlink configuration.

You typically configure the router by opening up a web browser and typing in the router's (local) IP address in the URL: [ignore]e.g. [/ignore]The DLink default username is 'admin' with a blank password.
