A client wants port 49000 -49150 open on thier sun server. How do I do it. Please advice

umm ... open to what?

if you have a daemon that you want to run, then just run it ...

or is the problem that you are behind a sunscreen or ipfilter'd firewall?

Sun Solaris has no built in firewalls. If you have an app that runs on that port than the client will be able to connect to it as long as you or the client is behind a firewall (DMZ).
