How to open port

Hi!

Netbackup 4.5 Window 2000, i cannot connect via telnet from master server to client using bpcd port (13782) with error "could not öpen connection to host on port 13782" but i can connect from the client to master server via same port. how can i open that port on the client side?

Appreciate your reply. Thanks.

Is there something in between the server and the client, like a firewall or another device that blocks access to ports?
