How to open an html page based on date picked from calendar component

Can anybody please explain to me how to open a web page based on a date picked from a calendar component (using Flash MX).

Basically what I'm looking to do is create simple web pages for a gallery to be opened by date.

I will soon be beginning to get to grips with PHP and so on, but for now time is pressing and so will need to keep it relatively simple until I can develop it later.
