how to open a closed lv?

anyone? just wondering.. how can i opened a closed lv? afer i cplv and change it to type copy, and copied over the lv to another defined lv.. but icant make it opened. everytime i look at the status of the lv is closed. sorry.. i know this is quite easy.. thanks!

it is open when filesystem created on this lv is mounted

btw:

you cen create manual stanza for temp filesystem "built" on this new "cplv'ed" LV in /etc/filesystems and mount it to a tem mountpoint. After that, LV will bo open.
