I want to send out examples of our work in PDF format. I will be printing direct from AutoCAD via distiller and I need to be able to render some names and data in the drawings unreadable. I could just delete the info prior to printing to PDF, but I really don't want blank spaces.
I have the full version of Acrobat.
Any advice would be appreciated.

You can use the text touch up tool in Actobat to delete characters, but...

Could you place this sensitive data on a different layer in AutoCAD so you could simply hide the layer when printing to PDF?

Thanks, I will try that.
I would really like to just blur the text so the format remains, so to speak. A little like when they are hiding someone's appearance on tv.
Does anyone know of shareware or freeware to do this?
