I'm working with an artist who creates alot of art and does not want it capturable on the web. I can put these images into Flash, and thats fine, so someone cannot right click and say "save as"... but...
Is there anyway to prevent a user from downloading your .swf file?
Is there a way to block someone from doing a screen capture and getting the image? Such as some action script that loads? or something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

in your publish settings you can put a password so that the swf cannot be imported and opened up..but i don't think you can stop someone from: alt > print screen....

You could probably also prevent it from being cached, but as Carl said, doubt you can prevent a screen capture bit.
Unless you made those art pieces as small thumbnails, and only offered the user a larger view if he requested it by e-mail, paying a fee or whatever!
Of course you could also draw a big red X over the larger picture, but that sort of defeats the purpose of displaying it in the first place!
