Hi there,

I have a CISCO AP350 that functioning as Root Bridge.

I want this root bridge to associate with ONLY related non-root bridge.

It means, I do not want this device to associate with users directly.

Does anybody know how to setup the AP350 to act like that? Using MAC filter seems not practical to me since I need to entry all client's MAC.

Does anybody know to setup the AP350 to DENY ALL MAC address EXCEPT particular MAC addresses?

Thanks

you should be able to write the access list to permit mac address xxxx.xxxx.xxxx. as the first statement and then the implicit deny should take care of the rest.

is this unit running ios?

Lui3,

Thanks for your suggestion.
Unfortunately this is not running IOS. It is VXWorks version. Do I need to upgrade to IOS version? What're the risks?

Thanks
