I need to move my transaction logs on my publisher. There are several databases that are replicated. I know how to move the transaction logs by detaching, then reataching, however, you cannot detach a replicated database. Please let me know the best way to do this!

Thanks

You have to stop replication, remove the subscriptions, and possibly kill your publications (not sure about that part) before you can move your Transaction Logs.

That's the only way SQL will allow you to do such things with a Replicated database. It's to prevent unintentional (or maliciously deliberate) harm to the database.

Sorry I couldn't give you a better answer.
