How to move the windows content DB to SQL.

Hello,

I need to move my Sharepoint 3 windows database to a SQL server machine so that I can load up Sharepoint 3 on a new machine and attach it to the moved database, however I am not sure how or what to move to the SQL server in order to make this work. Has anybody else done this?
