How to move Documents & Settings

I am out of space on the C: drive of my Windows 2003 server. I could like to move the C:\Documents and Settings folder to another drive. How do I do this and what changes do I need to make in Windows to have it recognize the new location?
 
Sorry about that... here's a little more information. We have a citrix environment and when a user logs on they are essentially logging on to the server. It creates a folder for that user under c:\Documents and Settings that has the following folers: Application Data, Cookies, Desktop, Favorites, Local Settings, My Recent Documents, Nethood, Printhood, Send to, Start Menu, Templates....etc. I would like to make Windows use d:\Documents and Settings (which does not exist) instead of C:\Documents and Settings... does that help?
 
That helps. I'm not a guru like most of the contributors here but I would suggest roaming profiles, though I am unsure if that's supported under citrix.
I would assume so since Citrix uses Terminal Services...Can you confirm?

You could then move the users entire profile from the C: partition to where ever you'd like.

You can easily move the location where any new profiles will be created. Simply change the value int he registry under: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList\ProfilesDirectory.

Likewise you can move the existing profiles to a new location by doing a copy of the profile by right clicking on My Computer, choose Properties. Click the Advanced Tab. Click the Settigns button under Profiles. use the GUI to copy the profiles you want and be sure to specify the same user in the Permitted To Use list. Then go into the registry and point the profile to the new drive letter. The user profile path is found under:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList\[red]User GUID[/red]\ProfileImagePath. Once the profile is pointing to the new path, verify the user can log in and create a test docuemntt o verify that they are in fact working in that profile. You can then safely delete the old profile.
