Hello.

Is there a way to quickly edit a field for several selected records? For example, if I locate 100 records showing ID Status as Prospects and I want to quickly modify the field contents to show them all as Customers, can I do this without modifying each and every record separately?

Thanks. Cheryl.

Make a lookup of those people you want to change. In one contact's view, go to the Replace function (in the Edit menu) type what you want to appear for those contacts in the field it will go in. This will replace that field's contents. The button to run the replace looks like two arrows going in a circle. It's on a toolbar under the menus.
