how to modify phone type

hello experts,
i am using 61C and would like to change the phone type how i can modify phone type 2008 to 2616 while using commends.
kindly explain

I think changing the phone type only applies to IP phones & not DGTL sets from memory. best thing would be to print the TN so you have the user details EG name/dn/forwarding conditions & destinations then out the TN & reconfig it for the required set.



Remember if it doesn't work hit it harder

You need to out the 2008 and rebuild as a 2616

I'm with them. Don't change the type, just out it and rebuild it. It doesn't take that long to do it. Could save headaches down the road.
