How to modify Excel spreadsheet from within Access code?

Hi,

What i need to do is to make the existing (export from Access) spreadsheet look nice: I need to color the rows that contain "XEROX" value in the column "ITEM".

Is it possible to do from Access vba?
I know how to open file, I only need to find out how to format the rows based on the condition I described above.

I will appreciate your help
