Hi,

We currently have checkpoint installed on Windows NT 4.0 (hardened) but would like to upgrade the OS to something a bit more "secure". I exported the configuration from Windows (insert the upgrade CD and select Export in the Advanced settings) then I installed SecurePlatform on a test server but can't figure out how to import the configuration in SecurePlatform. Haven't found anything in the CP documentation or knowledgebase. Anyone know if this is possible?

thx
Mark

You can't go cross platform and upgrade, you'll need to have your secure platform be at the exact same version as your NT. Then do your export, then upgrade to R55. [cheers]

thx rn4it

i only have the secureplatform R55 install CD so will try upgrading NT to R55 before exporting/importing.
