1) Does the exchange migration wizard help in migrating all the mailboxes and public folders from a hosting company server to our inhouse exchange server

2) If the hosting company sends us a .PST files how can we use that to migrate all the mailboxes into our exchange server.

Please lemme know the answers ASAP.

Thanks

Not knowing how many how many users you have, the simplest would be to use a mail clent like MS Outlook. Import the maibox pst file using the import/export option via the File menu.

This method is inefficient but the simplest. If you deal with a large number of users, it would probably be worth investigating exmerge.exe (I think). This is a tool that allow you to import/export mulitiple mailboxes at once.

I am in the middle of a domain migration to Win2k + Exchange 2000. I only have 70 users and moving a couple of people per day. I have been doing a gradual migration and this has suited me.

Goodluck.
