How to merge data from a spreadsheet

We currently use Indesign Version CS and we are producing a brochure in three languages. To save time cutting and pasting the test in different languages we would like to merge the data in from a spreadsheet. Similar to mailmerge function.

Open ID Help and go to Search. Type "excel" into the search box. The results will start you into learning Excel and other table imports.

Importing tables takes some learning, thers are a number of little tweaks.

As a backdoor, you could Save As from Excel as a tab delimited format, then format your tabs in InDesign... Just a thought
