Is this possible to do on a BCM 400, i've had a good look within element manager but i'm not sure what option relating to CLI i need to change. I know it's possible to dial 141 etc before the call to hide/mask my number just wondering if this can be set directly on the system?

Thanks

Paul

In the sets public OLI you can enter all zeros. If this is a PRI if Analog the CO would need to change it.

That's a Great idea, thank you - i tried that and it kind of works but the number that comes up is the first one in our range instead (1300) it doesn't completely obscure the number or where the call is originating from.

Use the feature ONN blocking. One caution, though. Some carriers won't complete the call if they don't see a valid calling party number on the d-channel. That applies to all zeros as well.

I'm using Element Manager 4.0, i've had a look in the help file, but i can't find where this is option is located, any chance you could point me in the right direction?

Thanks

If all you want to do is block your caller ID outbound , why not just use F819 to block it and F#819 when you want to turn it back on?

if you are using the routing table 001 and dialing 9 dest code
then go to the route and insert in the external number 141.

this way when some one dials 9 the 141 is prefixed on all calls.
eg: 9 system prefixes 141 then the rest of the number is dialed. 9 141xxxxxxxx
