Does anyone know how to mark/hilight text in a textbox. I want the two last digits in a date (that's in a textbox) marked when you come to the page and if you write something the digits are replaced by what you write.

I don't think it's possible.
nick bulka

Dear ludde,

One solution is to use a Java Applet.

Possible solution is IE 5 behaviors. I have not worked with them enough yet to know if this would be possible.

Good luck
-pete

possible solution is to absolutely position two textfields next to one another and use a .select() statement on the second one.
