how to map a field from one target table into another in a mapping ?

I have a mapping that has a Target Table A. There is a field in target table A that has to
be populated from another target table B. If i try to take the target table B as a source in the
mapping and try to map its field to target A. It invalidates the mapping..

any suggestions wud be appreciated..

When you add Table B as an additional source table did you also include it in the SQL Joiner? That might be your problem.

well the problem is the Target table B has nothing in common with the source for target table A so i cannot use an SQL joiner..

its like this there is an ad_key which comes from Target B
that has to be populated in the target table A buttarget table A
