Hi,

Supposed I have a PT, I want changes in one PageField can affect another PF in the same table, i.e. the rest of PFs will show PivotItems under the changed PF, like Excel Data filter? Can I make it happen? I tried but failed. Of course, I can set up a Macro and limit the data based on the selection of those 2 PFs; the create a PT based on the selection of the data. But I'm wondering if any built-in functionality that serves the same purpose and save the sweat of creating Macros.

Hope made myself understood.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You cannot AFAIK.

What I have done in the past to overcome this PT shortcoming, is to use independent list selection via a drop down control, in conjunction with MS Query to generate the next list, based in a selection in the previous control for multiple dependent selections.
