I have a server with multiple NICs installed. Right now I am using the servers NIC "teaming" software to use them. I am running several VMs on the server. Is it possible to somehow "dedicate" individual NIC cards to a single VM? Do you have any control in VMware server over how the nic's are used?

thanks for any info

You do this via port groups on vswitches or by using dedicated vswitches (if you want to entirely isolate a vmnic). You then assign the VM to the appropriate port group.

thanks, ill take a look at doing it that way...
