Access to the source of compiled JSPs is, as anybody working
in a production environment knows, crucial in error situations where the origin of the error is inside the JSP.

But a search in the help or forum for keywords "keep" "JSP" or "compile" yields no relevant result.

Surely, this must be possible, but how do you force WAS (5.1) to keep the source of compiled JSPs?

Regards,
erik

WSAD does have an 'Export source files' option when you export jar, war, and ear files. If you check this box, then at least with straight java file the code will be included in the war file.

WAS normally takes everything in the war, so if your code is in the war, then it should be in the websphere app install folder.

I'm happy to be proved incorrect on this one.

Thanks, but you misunderstand.
I'm talking about JSPs, not POJOs.
