How to make typing "metalic"

I was wondering how to make typing on a picture look metalic instead of just a flat silver. Any help would be awesome

just another question...anyone know how to now make it different colors? like copper or gold?

You make text copper or gold by selecting copper or gold as a text color.

Yeah, it shouldn't autochange to silver hehe. But then again that happens occationally. and make sure you have the

Image > Mode > RGB Color (checked)
