How to make the phones use only specific lines (group) in UCM

Hi there,


We are facing an issue here, there is a UCM in the office and 8 lines coming from the PABX, they are configured into 2 groups (3 & 5), now we want to make sure half of the phones only use group 1 and the other half only uses group 2 and never uses group 1, the Guy here tried to configure that but he is not able to reach this goal, can his be done? if yes then please explain how.

Make up a new route group and only select the ports you want to call out on. I take it you have two FXO cards. You might have to break up the calls (4&4).
