I am trying to design a full photos catalog with corelDraw 12.
My problem is, I am still worrying about to get a perfect resolutions as we need.

So how I can make sure that all the photos and designs I create would be perfect as we need? And should we using another program instead just printing the designs directly from coreldraw?

Add:I am using Photoshop to playing with the photos (change to CMYK and 300 dpi res).

Thanks

General rule of thumb is 3oo dpi finished size for photgraphs - 1200 dpi for scanned line work - vector drawing/logo/text has no resolution as such. You can save your work in Photoshop if you prefer (PP will do equally as well and is integrated with Draw) as jpg but this is a lossy format so tif may be better even though file size will be larger.

Thanks Alan. :)
Makes me more confidance to start my project. Because I saw sometimes what you see in your monitor especially at coreldraw is differ with what you get.
Another, is there any ways to check that what we seen on the monitor is matches with the printing result?

Also, is there any trick how to avoid mistake for pages arrangement and printing, if we decide to make 1 image that cover 2 pages?

Colour management is for viewing what prints, set the separations printer to Euroscale coated/uncoated or maybe Swop. Colour space to perceptual and I use rgb/srgb colourspace but others have said Adobe 1998 is the one. When the management is set you can convert from rgb to cmyk. I find that the printed output (commercial litho) is fairly close to what I see, bear in mind that nothing is perfect in the conversion and that will include any Adobe products or Quark.
Layout - page setup - layout - select facing pages.
