Hi All,
We are running various versions of ArcServe from 11.1 - 12.0. We've started using PFC to check all our nightly backups for the presence of a tape before we leave the office. However, PFC only checks if the tape is present, it doesn't check if it belongs to the correct media group, if the tape is expired or even if the tape is write protected. I have a write protected tape in a server right now and PFC is saying that the PFC Media Check result is Pass
Does anybody have any ideas how to make PFC do more thorough checking ? It seems to me the utility is pretty useless if it tells you the PFC passes when the media is write protected !
Would really appreciate any help
